Who is the man behind the Kosher Tony Stark?

“A Genius. Billionaire. Playboy. Philanthropist.” -Tony Stark

Not quite, but it’s always good to have a goal.

But lets talk about that later.

First, lets find out how Gil can be useful to you.

This is where I come in.

I have been exactly where you are.

I spent years watching from the sidelines while people created amazing things while I wondered why it seemed so easy for them, but not for me.

I know what it’s like to want to create something so passionately and bring it to life, but realise that you are all alone, swimming in an ocean of technology where everything seems to come with such a sky high learning curve that you just can’t get started.

With so many choices available, the technology that you want to use to create can seem both incredibly powerful and incredibly anxiety provoking all at the same time.

I have the answers to make your dreams take flight.

I can help you take the first simple steps in creating and making it real enough to share with the rest of the world.

You have a dream, an idea, a vision.

Something burning inside you that you want to create and share with the world using your own special style and voice.

Yet for some reason, it’s just not happening.

You have done the research, learned about the technology that’s available out there, you can see what you want, but it’s all so OVERWHELMING.

The truth is, you just don’t know where to begin.

Which leaves you feeling stuck and anxious. Perhaps even a little bit afraid of the same technology that you want to use to bring your vision and projects to life.

Who am I?

When I started my career in the film industry, my dream was to be surrounded by like minded people, who were all creating  projects in the same direction. While I specialised in Cinematography, my problem solving nature and curiosity pulled me towards creative projects and results that needed “out of the box” thinking.

And let me tell you, there is no better environment than the film industry to sharpen those skills.

I love technology, and was looking to use it to make my dreams come alive. I was looking for someone who could explain to me how things worked, someone who would be supportive, patient enough to let me make my own mistakes, stand by me until the very end, and do it all with a smile, enjoying the process all the way.

I was looking for someone very special. When I could not find someone to fill that role, I made a choice and became that person.

I started building all the projects I had wanted to create in the past but was afraid to begin, and as I learnt new skills, I started sharing and teaching what I learned. I discovered people who loved the same things that I did, and collaborated with them, creating projects that I would not have been able to create on my own. The best part is that we all had a great time doing it.

Over the last few years, I started teaching on a more formal level, and I am currently the Creative Technologies Activator for the City of Melbourne, running the Makerspace at the Libray @ the Dock in Docklands.

But that’s only part of what I do. I love creative projects and working with people to make your projects a reality. I can’t wait to explore with you the powerful process of sharing and creating.

If you are looking for someone to stand by you as you use technology to make your dreams real, you have just found that person.

Take a look around the site and see the different types of projects I have been involved in. I’m confident I can help you with what your are making.
