While working with Gil at City of Melbourne, Gil established one of the most comprehensive Maker Events I have ever seen as part of Melbourne Knowledge Week. As a team we delivered more than 200 events for more than 5000 members of the community and Gil was instrumental in organising and delivering workshops, events and maker programs.

Gil’s genuine passion and enthusiasm for technology is infectious! I was fortunate to have met Gil at the EduTECH expo in 2018. Since then, he has been a wealth of knowledge and inspiration and I cannot speak highly enough about him. His approachable demeanour, determination to empower others, professionalism and energy make Gil an absolute asset to any company!
Gil’s expertise in 3D printing helped me find my own way in the field. His clear, concise (and fun!) workshops at Docklands library provided everything I needed to know to start exploring 3D modelling and printing. Gil is an excellent teacher, and his willingness to support newcomers really made the experience a welcoming one.
Gil knows how to communicate to us all even having fun when we wouldn’t answer. He is a great person to have in the library as more libraries need someone like him to help the next generation of computer minds.

I worked closely with Gi Poznanski on a television drama pitch, and have found him an excellent and enthusiastic collaborator and a hard worker.
