Last week at the Libray @ the Dock’s Makerspace, I had the privilege to introduce a group of students from Bialik College the wonderful world of 3D printing.

These guys not only were interested in seeing out 3D printers but also made time to jump on to Tinkercad and share with us their class project, a customised version of the board game Monopoly based on the school.

The class had designed houses and pieces for the game board, and I was happy to show them a few tricks and tips so that they could create exactly what they wanted.

After the class, the kids were eager to attacked the video gaming machines in the library! Guess you can’t win them all. 🙂

It was great to work with this school in the Makespace and I am looking forward to doing it again in the near future!
