After being sent home from work for feeling ill, (try teaching a class with no voice), I was surprised with the delivery of the Solid State Hard Drive I had ordered.  After a quick nap, I was feeling a little bit better and started getting a little antsy to get something done. Naturally, the hard drive installation was my first choice.

The SSD was going into my main MacBook Pro, a 2010 model with 8gig onboard. I purchased my Macbook while I was overseas, and over the years have built it into the machine it is today. The SSD is the last upgrade I’ll be making before retiring her.

After a number of larger projects that take weeks to finish, the SSD upgrade was a really nice and smooth project. All finished and working in under thirty minutes. Time to rest up and feel better.
